Baking With A Purpose – December 2018

In this session of Baking With A Purpose, kids made King Cake Candy Canes just in time for Christmas.  Kids used cinnamon rolls and lots of sugar to make their own glaze topping.  What they really enjoyed was the chance to make their own sprinkles.  Its super easy, all you need is granulated sugar and your food coloring of choice.  From there, kids shared their colored sugar, “sprinkles”, with each other to create their own unique masterpiece. Baking With A Purpose is a stress free zone, giving kids the opportunity to be themselves while exploring the beauty of baking.  It also allows them the chance to meet new people, engage with classmates to solve problems and be creative, all while having fun in the kitchen.
