Piety in Exile Holiday Market – December 2018

KD participated in the Holiday Market provided by Piety in Exile in front and inside The Healing Center on St. Claude.  KD sold single desserts and Holiday Dessert Packages.  Local markets allow small business owners the opportunity to sell to frequent and new buyers, giving them a time and location to walk up and purchase from a local business owner.  “Engaging with the community is important and a must!  In my business, I’m able to give out samples and put a picture to a face with many of my social media followers who come out and show support.  It has also allowed me catering opportunities on the spot, where I’ve literally booked a catering gig just from a client tasting KD’s NOLA Treats for the first time.” KD
